Simple Booking Pro

One paid product. It adds SMS and WhatsApp delivery to the free plugin, and the only thing that changes between tiers is how many sites the key covers.

You buy this by writing to me

There is no shopping cart, and that is on purpose. Tell me which sites the licence is for, we agree how you would rather pay, and I send the key. It is a short email and it gets answered the same day.

What you get out of it: the person who wrote the plugin already knows your setup before anything goes wrong, and you can ask whether it actually fits your salon before paying for it. If it does not, I will say so.

Questions worth answering first

How do I actually pay?

Whichever way suits you. Write to me with the sites the licence is for, and we settle it by bank transfer, Revolut, or an invoice for your accountant if you need one. The key is yours as soon as that is agreed — I do not hold it hostage while a transfer clears.

What exactly does the paid add-on add?

Two things: SMS and WhatsApp delivery, and taking money online. Both are code the add-on ships — the Twilio client, and the WooCommerce gateway that raises the order for a deposit. Neither is a licence check placed in front of something the free plugin already contains. Group bookings, multiple staff and editable notification wording are free and stay free.

What happens when my licence expires?

Your bookings, calendar and settings are untouched, and pay-on-site bookings carry on as normal. SMS, WhatsApp and online deposits stop, because those are the things the licence pays for — a service configured to ask for a deposit keeps the setting and stops binding until you renew.

What if your licence server is down?

Nothing changes on your site. The licence check fails open by design: a timeout, a DNS failure or a bad gateway all leave the previous verdict exactly where it was and get retried later. A vendor’s bad afternoon must not take down a customer’s booking form.

Do I need WooCommerce?

Only for taking deposits online, and then you need the add-on too: the add-on raises the order, WooCommerce processes the card. Free and pay-on-site bookings need neither.

Does a licence cover a staging site?

Each distinct site URL claims one seat. If you run staging on a separate URL it counts, so pick a tier with a spare seat or deactivate the licence on staging when you are done.

Can I move a licence to another site?

Yes. Deactivate it in Booking → Pro on the old site, which releases the seat, then activate it on the new one.

It is the whole booking system. Write to me about the add-on when you actually want to text people or take deposits.
