What we do

Treatments and services

Everyday care and longer treatment plans under one roof. If you are unsure what you need, book a consultation and we will talk it through.

Check-ups and prevention

A full examination, a written summary of what we find, and a plan you can take away and think about before deciding anything.

Restorative treatment

Repair work carried out with modern materials and local anaesthetic, at a pace that suits you. We agree the cost before we begin.

Care for children

Unhurried appointments for younger patients, with time to get used to the room first. Parents and carers are welcome to stay throughout.

Diagnostics and imaging

On-site digital imaging so you rarely need a second visit. We go through the images with you on screen and answer questions as they come up.

Hygiene and aftercare

Professional cleaning appointments, plus practical advice on looking after things at home between visits.

Second opinions

Been given a treatment plan elsewhere and want another view? Bring it in and we will go through it with you, with no obligation.

About us

A calm practice built around the patient

We opened in 2009 with a simple idea: give people enough time. Appointments here are longer than average, because most of what makes a visit stressful is feeling rushed, or not understanding what is about to happen.

The practice sits on the ground floor with step-free access from the street, a quiet waiting room and a treatment area kept deliberately uncluttered.

Longer appointments

Time to ask questions, and to change your mind about a plan.

Clear pricing

A written estimate before treatment starts, with no surprises after.

Accessible building

Step-free entrance, accessible washroom and a hearing loop at reception.

Family friendly

Children and carers are welcome, and siblings can wait in the room.

In their words

What patients tell us

Comments shared with permission. Replace them with feedback from your own patients before you publish.

I put off going for years. They talked me through every step before touching anything, and I left with a plan I actually understood. The estimate I was given at the start was the amount I paid at the end.

Patient since 2021

My daughter is six and was nervous. They let her sit in the chair and look at everything first, and nobody rushed her. She went back happily the second time, which I did not expect.

Fees and cover

Insurance and payment

You will always be given a written estimate before treatment begins. If your cover changes part-way through a plan, tell us and we will re-quote rather than let a bill build up.

Insurers we work with

We can bill most major health insurers directly. Bring your policy number to your first visit and reception will check what is covered before you are seen.

Ways to pay

  • Debit and credit cards, and contactless
  • Bank transfer against an invoice
  • Interest-free instalments on longer treatment plans

Cancellations

Let us know at least 24 hours ahead and there is no charge. Appointments given up early usually go to someone on the short-notice list.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

If your question is not here, call reception — they would much rather answer it before your visit than after.

What happens at a first appointment?

We take a short medical history, carry out an examination and, if it is useful, take images. You then get a written summary of what we found and the options open to you. Nothing is treated on that first visit unless you are in pain and ask us to.

Do I need a referral?

No, you can book directly with us. If you have been referred by another practice, bring the letter and any recent images with you so we do not repeat work you have already had done.

I am nervous about coming in. Can you help?

Tell us when you book and we will set aside extra time. You are welcome to come in first just to see the room and talk, with no examination at all. We stop whenever you ask us to.

Is the building accessible?

The entrance is step-free from the pavement and all treatment rooms are on the ground floor. There is an accessible washroom, a hearing loop at reception and two marked parking bays by the door.

Can I get a copy of my records?

Yes. Ask reception in writing and we will send your records to you, or on to another practice if you are moving. We will confirm how long it will take when you ask.

What if I need to cancel?

Give us at least 24 hours and there is nothing to pay. Cancelled slots are usually offered to patients on the short-notice list, so an early call genuinely helps someone else.

Map goes here

Replace this panel with a map block from your preferred maps plugin, or with a photograph of the building so patients can recognise the entrance.

This theme deliberately ships no third-party embeds, so nothing here loads from an outside server until you add it.
